ZCZC MIATWOEP ALL TTAA00 KNHC DDHHMM Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 1100 AM PDT Thu Jul 15 2021 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane Felicia, located about 800 miles southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. 1. A broad area of low pressure has formed about 500 miles south of the coast of southern Mexico. Although there is a large area of associated showers and thunderstorms, this activity is currently disorganized. However, environmental conditions are conducive for gradual development over the next several days, and a tropical depression is likely to form this weekend well offshore of the southwestern coast of Mexico, while the system moves westward or west-northwestward at around 15 mph. * Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...60 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...high...90 percent.
