AUSTIN, Texas – Three State of Texas/Federal Mobile Disaster Recovery Centers (MDRCs) in the cities of Houston, Nome and Refugio will close permanently at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11. However, help is just a mouse click, phone call or a tap on the FEMA app away.

Individuals and businesses in counties included in the Texas federal disaster declaration for Hurricane Harvey and the subsequent floods can still get help, and register if they still haven’t done so, in the following ways:

Locations of other recovery centers can be found online at www.fema.gov/DRC.Homeowners, renters and businesses in Aransas, Austin, Bastrop, Bee, Brazoria, Caldwell, Calhoun, Chambers, Colorado, DeWitt, Fayette, Fort Bend, Galveston, Goliad, Gonzales, Grimes, Hardin, Harris, Jackson, Jasper, Jefferson, Karnes, Kleberg, Lavaca, Lee, Liberty, Matagorda, Montgomery, Newton, Nueces, Orange, Polk, Refugio, Sabine, San Jacinto, San Patricio, Tyler, Victoria, Walker, Waller and Wharton counties may be eligible for help.
