Deadline to File for Flood Insurance Through the Claims Office is April 1

SANTA FE, N.M. – The FEMA Hermit’s Peak/Calf Canyon Claims Office is making five years of flood insurance available to individuals and business impacted by the fire. To receive a federally backed National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) policy, you must submit a claim for flood insurance no later than April 1. In most cases, there is a 30-day mandatory waiting period for all new NFIP policies. DENTON, Texas – New flood maps have been finalized and will become effective on July 31, 2024, for Coal County, Oklahoma. State and Claims Office Host Resource Fair on February 17 in Ledoux

SANTA FE, NM -- The State of New Mexico Disaster Case Management Team and the Hermit’s Peak/Calf Canyon Claims Office Advocate Team will host an Advocate Resource Fair in Mora on Feb. 17.
