Understanding your FEMA Determination Letter: You Have the Right to Appeal

FEMA grants $1 million to League City for emergency services

AUSTIN, Texas – The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has awarded more than $1 million to League City for emergency communications, evacuations and sheltering following Hurricane Harvey.  League City opened an Emergency Operations Center to coordinate search and rescue efforts, outside resources and damage assessments. The city managed debris removal contracts, provided emergency information to the public and offered evacuation and sheltering for residents at four locations. Four Oklahoma Counties Added to Disaster Declaration for Public Assistance Funding

OKLAHOMA CITY – Four more counties in Oklahoma are now eligible to apply for FEMA’s Public Assistance funding to supplement state and local recovery efforts in areas that sustained damage from the severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes and flooding between May 7 and June 9, 2019.  Caddo, Kay, Kiowa and Woodward counties may now request reimbursements under the Public Assistance grant program.
