Deadline for FEMA assistance is tonight; Recovery centers remain open until next week

AUSTIN, Texas – The deadline to register for FEMA assistance is midnight tonight, Monday, Sept.16, however, help remains at three Disaster Recovery Centers in the Valley.

 

The recovery centers will remain open throughout this week to serve survivors who may have questions about other resources or their federal disaster assistance applications. The centers will close beginning Tuesday, Sept. 24.

 

Hours are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday. The centers are closed on Sunday.

After the recovery centers close, help is still available by calling the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362 (voice, 711/VRS-Video Relay Service) (TTY: 800-462-7585). Multilingual operators are available (press 2 for Spanish).
