ZCZC HFOTWOCP ALL TTAA00 PHFO DDHHMM Tropical Weather Outlook NWS Central Pacific Hurricane Center Honolulu HI 200 AM HST Mon Jul 20 2020 For the central North Pacific...between 140W and 180W: The National Hurricane Center has initiated advisories on newly formed Tropical Depression Seven-E, located about 1600 miles east of Hilo, Hawaii. Seven-E is expected to move into the Central Pacific Hurricane Center area of responsibility Wednesday as a Post-Tropical remnant low. 1. A low pressure system located about 2500 miles east-southeast of Hilo, Hawaii continues to show signs of organization, and recent satellite-derived wind data indicate that the low is producing winds just below tropical storm force. Environmental conditions are conducive for additional development, and a tropical depression or tropical storm is likely to form during the next day or two while the low moves west-southwestward and then westward at 10 to 15 mph. * Formation chance through 48 hours...high...70 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...high...90 percent.
