For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:
1. A broad area of low pressure located about 600 miles south of the
southern tip of the Baja California peninsula continues to produce
a large area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Strong
upper-level winds are expected to continue affecting the system
during the next few days while the low moves generally northward at
5 to 10 mph.
