Shower activity associated with a weak area of low pressure located about 1300 miles west-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula is showing some signs of organization. Some development of this system is possible while this disturbance drifts eastward and then moves northward during the next few days. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...30 percent * Formation chance through 5 days...medium...40 percent 2. An area of low pressure is expected to form later this week several hundred miles southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico.
