For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:
The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane
Olivia, located several hundred miles southwest of the southern tip
of the Baja California peninsula.
1. A broad area of low pressure is likely to form well south of the
southwestern coast of Mexico in a couple of days. Environmental
conditions appear conducive for gradual development of this system
later this week while it moves west-northwestward.

* Formation chance through 5 days...low...30 percent.
