- Severe thunderstorms, heavy rains and flash flooding are possible across Southern Plains to Central Gulf states
- Significant post-Christmas winter storm will impact the Central and Northern Plains, and the Upper Midwest through the end of the week - winter weather advisories and warnings are in effect
