For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:
1. A trough of low pressure, located a few hundred miles southwest of
the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula, is moving
west-northwestward at 5 to 10 mph. Development, if any, of this
system is expected to be slow to occur before the disturbance
reaches cooler waters in a couple of days.
